Thank You Thursday BIC Bands Review and a Giveaway

Today we want to thank BIC Bands for sponsoring the upcoming Win, Lose or Blog Season 6 which will be starting early in October. Let me start by telling you why I was so excited to try BIC Bands myself. It was the following statement on their website that had me chomping at the bit to get my hands on them: "BIC Bands are headbands that will not slip ~ (Seriously!)" My humidity-induced frizz and my thick hair begged me to give them a try. 


I received my BIC Bands on a Saturday when I had plans with my hubby for date night to go to a big event on the beach. I knew I was going to get hit with lots of ocean breezes and that my hair, as always, would be a disaster by the end of the night. I hadn't anticipated the BIC Bands being so darn cute, but one of them was exactly right for what I was wearing that night so I decided to wear my hair down and really put that BIC Band to the test! Let me tell you... that phrase that had caught my attention on the BIC Bands website? Totally true! This is the headband that will not slip ~ SERIOUSLY! I was shocked when after 5 hours at the beach with constant ocean breezes my hair was still pulled back smoothly from my face and that BIC Band was exactly where I'd put it to begin the night! And look how stinkin' cute that band is!! I LOVE it!

Of course I had to put the BIC Bands to the ultimate test too: workout time!! Now you should know that without a BIC Band my hair looks like this at the end of a workout... 

I have this really horrible, unintentional fringe around my face that isn't long enough to stay pulled back in my ponytail holder and gets frizzy and beyond unruly when hit by wind, humidity or sweat. Add a little jumping around cardio to the mix and I'm a complete mess. But look what BIC Bands did for me!! A full hour of crazy intense Zumba and I had no hair in my eyes!!! Oh happy, happy day!
